Video 2: Salaam Baalak City Walk Trailer
Salaam Baalak is a NGO from Delhi, India that houses, educates and feeds street children from Delhi.
The older street children take tourists on a "city walk" to show them a side of Delhi not seen by all tourists.
I filmed and edited this while on a trip there filming and researching an up coming documentary I have been working on.
This is a trailer for their city walk.
Video 3: Train To Nowhere
Train to Nowhere was also shot and edited in India.
All footage collected was shot in one day on a trip to a from a Salaam Baalak girls shelter home just outside Delhi.
Its incredible the train system in Delhi in the video i was trying to convey this with snappy changing shoots to replicate that the scenery never stays the same for long
The train rides in India are usually very long and tiring with the possibility of getting lost for days in the maze of tracks.
Video 4: You'll Never Know
Once again shot and edited in India, You'll Never Know was based on mainly footage from Salaam Baalak shelter homes.
This video was a video that i felt very close to.
It really was me trying to portraying the struggles i had faced and all the the life changing imagery that I saw and that no matter how much I would try to forget and shut myself off to it, it wasn't possible.
